Magnesia Carbon Ball Introduction & Application
Magnesia Carbon Ball is the converter material for protecting converter slag regulator.
Generally, lining protection by slag can not directly for improving, adjusted by adding a certain amount of MgO carbon ball, at the same time to replace the use of dolomite, reduce slag quantity, increase of magnesium oxide content in slag.
Because magnesium oxide is high melting point mineral, melting point 2800°C, the improvement of magnesium oxide content in slag, the slag viscosity and refractoriness, slag easier and lining together, form effective protective layer of slag on the lining, thus improve the lining life, reduce wear and tear.
Application for metallurgical industry, rotory melting furnace.
